Kurs Nr. 12: Fotografie und Video Art

In that workshop we will research new places of photography, where it meets our contemporary times. We will find out by discussion and analyzing examples, what 
was doing the photography in the last 170 years and where we are today. How do I use it in a way that will give sense to my life 
today? How do I use as my expression tool. We will discover basic technics in our camera, as well as the special 
options the digital camera brings us today. In what way it can support my self-expression? We will learn by seeing what is cold to warm photography; Moving between territories of conceptual art and shooting from my intuition, 
from my heart. This workshop will develop individual approach, in the world of the visual expression for each participant, by 
knowing himself and his surrounding better. Finding inside, my own way of expression and making my images as a tool to get closer to myself as well as to other people in the group.

During the workshop we will experience activity night outside, after the sunset for light-paint shooting. Painting with light- fire, torch, cell phone light, and any other

  • SLR camera (Advantage for DSLR)
  • Battery Charger
  • Camera Cards reader (for SD or CF card)
  • Childhood book story, some objects from childhood 
 (your little puppy doll, Snoopy, little cat, or?..)
  • sketch book & pencil colors

In diesem Kurs werden wir neue Wege in der zeitgenössischen Fotografie erkunden. In Diskussionen und Analysen von fotografischen Beispielen beschäftigen wir uns damit, welche Aufgabe die Fotografie in den letzten 170 Jahren hatte und welche sie heute übernimmt. Wie wird die digitale Fotografie zu einem wirklichen Ausdrucksmittel meines Alltags heute? Wir werden Grundtechniken unserer Kamera sowie spezielle Funktionen der digitalen Kamera kennenlernen. Wie können diese Funktionen meine ganz persönliche Bildsprache unterstützen? Konzeptuelle Kunst wird zu intuitiver Fotografie, Fotografie die „von meinem Herzen“ kommt. Durch nähere Beobachtung des eigenen Umfelds unterstützt dieser Kurs einen individuellen Ansatz der Teilnehmern zu einer ganz eigenen visuellen Expression.

Wir werden unsere nahe Umgebung in Landsberg erkunden und uns in der Natur sowie der Landsberger Innenstadt bewegen, um mit Hilfe von Lichtathmospären und unserer eigenen ganz persönlichen Athmosphäre die Außenwelt in visuelles Material zu übersetzen.

Hauptsprache in unserem Kurs ist die visuelle Kommunikation als Zweitsprache wird Englisch eingesetzt. Geringe Sprachkentnisse im Englischen sind von Vorteil aber nicht dringend notwendig.

Benötigte Materialien

  • SLR Kamera (wenn vorhanden DSLR)
  • Batterie Ladegerät, Kartenlesegerät (SD /CF Karten)
  • Blitzgeräte (soweit vorhanden)
  • Bücher aus der eigenen Kinder- und Jugendzeit
  • Skizzenbuch und Blei-und Bundstifte
  • Taschenlampen und jegliche Arten von Leuchtquellen

Für Anfänger und Fortgeschrittene geeignet.
